200 Jahre Botanischer Garten Ljubljana
Das Münzbild gibt kreisrund das Thema wider: 200 Jahre (LET) Botanischer Garten (VRT) Ljubljana. Im Inneren ist die Pflanze HLADNIKIA PASTINACIFOLIA dargestellt. Sie stammt aus der Zeit vor der Eiszeit und ist endemisch (nur dort vorkommend). Sie hat dreigliedrige, gezähnte glänzend grüne Blätter. Ihre weißen Blüten bilden die charakteristischen büschelartigen Dolden. Die Hladnikia ist benannt nach dem bedeutenden slowenischen Botaniker und Lehrer Franz von Paula Hladnik (1773–1844), der sie entdeckte. Hladnik gründete 1810 den Botanischen Garten und war dessen erster Direktor.
